Lake Jackson Parks and Recreation programs take precedence over all other activities and availability is subject to change.

Basketball

The Rec Center has 2 full size basketball courts that are available for use anytime programs are not scheduled. Basketballs are available with a Valid ID.
One side of the gym is available for full court play during the following times:

Mondays, 6:00 pm - 8:45 pm
Wednesdays, 6:00 pm - 8:45 pm

Pickleball

The Rec Center offers indoor Pickleball in the Left Gymnasium during the following hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
(Monday Wednesday, Friday open to ages 18 & up Tuesdays and Thursday open to ages 15 & up)

Thursday - 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Tuesday evenings 5-7 pm and Saturday mornings 9 - 11am play  are available during certain times of the year.  Check with the Recreation Center for a current schedule.

Volleyball

Full Court volleyball is available at the Rec Center and volleyballs are available for check out with a Valid ID, during the following times:

Saturdays, 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm  

*MUST HAVE AT LEAST 6 PEOPLE IN ORDER TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL

Wallyball

Wallyball is much like volleyball, however it is played in a racquetball court. You may reserve a time to play this game up to one week in advance at The Rec Center. Walk-ins are also welcome as long as there is a court available. Equipment is available for use with a valid ID.

*MUST HAVE ATLEAST 4 PEOPLE IN ORDER TO PLAY WALLYBALL

Racquetball

The Rec Center has 3 racquetball courts available for play. Guests may reserve one of the courts up to one week in advance. Walk-ins are also welcome as long as there is a court available.  Loaner Equipment is available at the front desk. 

Ping Pong

The Rec Center has Ping Pong available for play.  Guest may reserve a time to play up to one week in advance at the The Rec Center.  Walk-ins are also welcome as long as there is no other standing reservation. 

Sand Volleyball

Two Sand Volleyball Courts are located at MacLean Park next to the MacLean Pavilion. They are available for use anytime. Balls are available for check out at the Rec Center with a Valid ID.

Horseshoes

Four Horseshoe Pits are located at MacLean Park next to the MacLean Pavilion. They are available for use anytime that the Pavilion is not rented. Horseshoes are available for check out at the Rec Center with a Valid ID.

Disc Golf

An 18-hole disc golf course is located at Dunbar Park. It is available for use anytime. Discs are available for check out at The Rec Center with a Valid ID.
