The City of Lake Jackson's boards and commissions offers the public a chance to become involved in different aspects of local government.
Board and commission members are appointed in June of each year. However, there are at times vacancies that come up throughout the year that will need to be filled in a timely manner.

Meetings are held in the Council Chambers, Lake Jackson City Hall, 25 Oak Drive Lake Jackson, Texas 77566, unless otherwise noted.

Applying to Serve on a Board or Commission
The City Council is committed to appointing dedicated people to its boards or commissions and encourages all City of Lake Jackson residents to apply.
This form is used for citizens who reside within the city limits who wish to apply to volunteer to serve on a board or commission. The City Council uses all information in this form to determine appointments to boards and commissions. Provide as much information as possible to help councilmembers make their decisions. If Council needs more information from any applicants, individual councilmembers will contact them.
