Personal History
Chase, a third-generation lifelong resident of the city of Lake Jackson, graduated from Brazoswood High School in 2005 and began his public service journey in the Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire Department.
Chase remained with the department for over 8 years and earned the rank of Captain. In addition, he also worked for Lake Jackson EMS and Brazosport Regional Health Systems in the emergency department.
Councilman Blanchard was blessed with the opportunity to join the DOW Chemical Emergency Services department in 2013 as a firefighter where he remains to this day.
In 2015 Chase was able to finally complete a lifelong goal. Determined, he enrolled back into Brazosport College and successfully earned the recognition of Honor graduate from the L.E.A. along with Top-Gun honors also. He has since volunteered as a reserve officer for Freeport Police Department for some years and currently reserves with the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office as a patrol deputy and SRT tactical medic.

At home, Chase is a single father to his adopted 5-year-old son Anthony. They enjoy numerous adventures together and spending all their time with friends and family.
Community Involvement
In 2022, Councilman Blanchard was elected to City Council, and is currently serving as the Council Liaison to both the Charter Review Committee and the Parks Board.
