Color the Lights is Light Up Lake Jackson's annual coloring contest for children ages 3-14 years old. There are two designs for children ages 3-8 to choose from, and two choices for ages 9-14. Voting will take place online, and all submitted coloring sheets will be on display at the museum's Artists in the Lights Gallery Exhibit beginning December 17. Good luck!

To get a copy of the coloring sheets you may download and print your favorite from this Facebook post or pick up a hard copy in the Activity Center at the Lake Jackson Historical Museum. Good luck everyone!
Continue reading to learn how to enter and where/how voting will happen
1. The competition is split into two age groups in order to give everyone a fair shot at winning. the age groups are 3-8 and 9-14. Each age group has TWO coloring page options. children will pick their favorite and color it using the materials of their choice.
2. After coloring, write the child's name and age on the back along with their parent/guardian's phone number and email address.
3. Turn completed coloring sheets into the Lake Jackson Historical Museum during normal business hours no later than 4 PM on Saturday, December 7.
4. Voting will take place on Lake Jackson Historical Association Facebook page between Monday, December 9 and Friday, December 13. It will be shared to the City of Lake Jackson - Government Facebook page also. We encourage parents and their networks to follow both pages! Museum staff will upload scans of each submission to be posted at noon on Monday, December 9. Each like/reaction counts as 1 vote. While comments are welcome, they do NOT count as votes.
5. Voting will close at noon on Friday, December 13, and winners will be contacted using the phone numbers and email address provided.
