[ARCHIVED] PRESS RELEASE: Impending Road Work pavement spot repairs

ATTENTION: Residents, Police, Fire, EMS, School District, City Employees and others.
Work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.  Below is a list of street panel replacement locations.

  • At This Way, Lake Road to Plum Street
  • At Lake Road (near Family Life Church) to Hope Fellowship Church
  • At Lake Road, Oak Drive South (to Rasco Middle School)
  • At Abner Jackson Parkway from This Way to Dow Complex

The project general contractor, Matula & Matula Construction Company will mobilize in preparation for this by installing traffic channelization devices and signage for traffic directional flow.

Expect the periodic traffic disruptions and restricted access through the work zone.  Please observe construction zone regulations of the directional and speed limit signs being erected and being enforced by our police department.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconveniences these needed improvement changes may create for you.

Sal Aguirre, P.E.
City Engineer
