[ARCHIVED] Please Don't Sweep into the street!

When debris such as grass clippings are swept into the City streets it causes the drain ways to clog, and this debris also fills in our ditches. In the event of rain, this impairs the drainage process which results in street flooding. Please help us by not sweeping yard debris into the streets.

City Ordinance Sec. 82-33. (b) states “No person shall sweep into or deposit in any street or sidewalk the accumulation of yard refuse, clippings or litter from any building or property.”
