DEBRIS CLEANUP TO BEGIN SOON
We are prepping for debris cleanup to begin soon so we are asking residents to stage their debris so we can gather it as quick as possible. This photo depicts the right and wrong ways to stage tree and limb debris. Doing it right the first time, allows crews to pick it up faster. If they have to pass you, it is probably because the grabbers could not be used because the debris was stacked the wrong way. The most important points to remember are that trees and limbs go in one stack away from everything else. (We will address your construction pile in another post.)
BAGGED LEAVES | We receive many questions about bagged leaves. Anything in a plastic bag needs to go with household waste. We'll pick it up on your regular trash day. The crews take tree and limb debris to a state-approved site for disposal. That site cannot have any plastic in it. If we don't pick up your bagged leaves during household trash, leave them out. We will pick them on another pass. We might only be picking up household trash that day for various reasons so we will come back for bagged leaves.
FIRST PASS |Our first pass will last 6-8 weeks. We ask you to brace for that long span. We expect some residents to have their pile in their yard for a while. If you don't want to wait for us to remove it and you have the ability, you can always take it to the mulch site yourself for free.
If your debris is not picked up on the first pass, review that it meets all the right ways to stack it. If it does, we'll get it in the second pass.
