Purchasing Department

 The Purchasing Department is responsible for providing oversight over all departmental requests for materials, equipment, supplies, services, and to assist with their procurement and delivery, while ensuring that all State laws and City purchasing policies are observed by all departments in the City.  Any changes in policy or laws will be communicated to using departments.

City of Lake Jackson staff will take affirmative steps to ensure that businesses situated within the city limits of Brazoria County are encouraged to participate in its procurement process to the extent permitted by federal law, state law, city laws, regulations, grants, contracts, and this guideline.
