Festival of Lights
In 2014 we will be celebrating our 26th annual FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS!!

November 21-22, 2014 Lake Jackson will kick off the holiday season with a family friendly festival for all ages – the annual Festival of Lights!   Please bring your family and friends - come spend the day with us.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 21
Tree Lighting Ceremony @ 6pm
LJ Civic Center Outdoor Plaza

Christmas Movie on the Plaza (free)
6:30 p.m. Popcorn and drink included
LJ Civic Center Ballroom


SATURDAY NOVEMBER 22
Breakfast with Santa @ LJ Historical Museum 8-10 am ($10)
• Non-stop local entertainment on the civic center plaza stage throughout the day 
   **booking for entertainment will begin September 22**
Food booths located in the library parking lot
Craft booths on the plaza
• The Ice Skating Rink is back  and will once again be located in the Civic Center parking lot – nearest Compass Bank (opens at 11:00 am) - FREE
Snowland is also back this year and will be located in the museum parking lot (opens at 11:30 am) - FREE
• Other FREE activities for children of all ages to participate in include: Rockwall, Bungee Trampolines, Tiki Rockwall, Volcano Island, Chaos, Obstacle Course, Trainmaze, Gator, Rocket and Pets on Wheels. (10:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Pet Contest and Parade will be held at 11:00 am near the Library – but pet owners can register at 10:00 am at the committee booth located on the plaza.

The annual Parade of Lights begins at 7:00 p.m. in downtown Lake Jackson. On-lookers get to view more than 60 lighted floats that pass through the downtown area.  We have added a small portion of Oyster Creek Drive on our route this year. 

Wagners Carnival will be set-up in the Civic Center Parking Lot Thursday November 21 thru Sunday November 24. Wristbands will be sold for – prices to be announced at a later date.
