Water Conservation Contingency Plan Has Begun

August 21, 2023

Drought DaysThe extreme heat that we don’t expect will subside has led us to begin our drought contingency. The first level of our drought plan calls for voluntarily cooperation from the residents and it also contains a few restrictions. We ask you to voluntarily to begin limiting the watering your lawn to every other day. Even numbered addresses are allowed to water on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays while odd numbered addresses are allowed to water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. You can however, water every day if you use a hand-held hose, a faucet filled bucket or watering can of five (5) gallons or less, or drip irrigation system. View our Water Conservation & Drought page for a full description of the drought contingency plan.

Spike in water line breaks

Spikes in water line breaks are happening all over the region and state. We are not alone in this matter. We have hired additional contractors to help us and crews will prioritize the leaks in order of severity. We address them as fast as possible. This unfortunately means smaller leaks may have a longer response time. Please be patient and know we are working as quickly as possible to repair the leaks. We will fix any damages caused by the repairs as our manpower allows.
