Curbside Service
Residential recyclables are picked up curbside once weekly and always on the same day as your second day of household garbage pick-up. Place recyclables at the curb for collection no later than 8 a.m. the morning of your scheduled pick-up day only.
Use blue or clear bags for your co-mingled recyclables only. You can purchase 13-gallon blue bags at City Hall for $6.00 (roll of 50) or use any other blue bags you find. Do not use blue bags for household garbage.
Acceptable Items
Recyclables include all plastics, aluminum, tin cans, paper, and cardboard. All containers should be rinsed and emptied. Place newspapers and junk mail in a separate paper, blue, or clear plastic grocery bag. No glass is accepted. Keep recycling separate from household garbage when placing at curb for pick-up.
