Private Dance Lessons

Private dance lessons available for students of all ages (ballet, jazz, and modern technique).  Instructor has been dancing for over 20 years, taught for 10 years and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Sam Houston State University.  Private instruction will aide in building musicality and allow one on one instruction.

American Red Cross Babysitter Training

This single-day American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course gives young adults the skills and confidence needed to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. Participants will learn through hands-on activities, interactive video and lively discussions. 

Facility: The Recreation Center KidZone

Dates: Saturdays, January 21 and March 3

Time: 8:30am-4:30pm

Age: 11+ by the first day of class

Fee: $90

Registration Deadline:  5:00pm on Wednesday prior to session start date.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

Bakin’N’Cakin

Let Bakin’N’Cakin turn your child into a master chef with this beginner’s cooking class! Participants will take part in various school-aged baking lessons designed to enhance their creative appetite. They will practice decorating, mixing, and preparing several treats throughout this five day experience. Your lil’ chef will be well equipped to help in the kitchen during any season.

Facility: Rec Center Conference Room

Dates: Tuesdays, March 6 – 27, 2012

Time: 6:30-7:30pm

Age: 6-12

Fee: $40 Member/$50 Non-Member
