The City of Lake Jackson purchased natural gas from Centerpoint Gas. In calendar year 2008, the City purchased a total of 13,940 hundreds of cubic feet (CCF) of gas.

The City of Lake Jackson is a self supplier of water and no municipal funds are expended to purchase water for municipal services.
