Immunization Information
The State of Texas has made several changes in the requirements for immunizations for children and students in Texas Public and Private Schools.
The Brazoria County Health Department reminds parents that these changes affect mainly students entering kindergarten and seventh grade.
Different requirements are in force regarding the Hepatitis A, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus (Tdap) and Meningococcal vaccines.
Dr. Leo G. O'Gorman, Brazoria County Health Director, urges parents to bring their child in early to avoid the back-to-school rush in August.
A current up-to-date shot record is required.
