INFORMAL LEAGUES:

Our Informal Leagues are designed as a leisure activity meant to provide entertainment and enjoyment for its participants without umpires or referees.  Most of our Informal Leagues have a round robin structure where each team or individual will have the opportunity to play each other and the league coordinator will maintain the overall standings.  Please contact Megan Mainer for additional information about equipment provided and structure of the leagues. 

 

Sand Volleyball

Walk Across Texas

Register today to walk across the Lone Star State at The Recreation Center – Lake Jackson.  The goal is to walk across Texas, from Beaumont to El Paso or Amarillo to Brownsville.  If walking is not for you, no problem, other exercise equivalents are attached to your registration form.  Participants will submit their weekly totals on Monday at the front desk.  Weekly totals are measured from Monday to Sunday.  Weekly totals will be entered online and participants will receive an individual password so they can view their individual mileage, county mileage and how far they have walked across the state.  Prizes will be awarded to those who can walk across the state in at year.  If you are ONLY doing swimming the deadline to swim across the state will be extended.  This is a free ongoing program and we welcome you to jump start your healthy lifestyle with a new healthy habit — exercise.
